The company of actors and actresses without professional education in theatre and dance, but at a high level of professionalization, with many years of stage experience, mainly people with learning disabilities.
Since 2016, the group have been working at ZAMEK Culture Centre in Poznan under the guidance of theatre and dance professionals. Since 2021 an artistic leader of the theater is Janusz Orlik, dancer, choreographer and educator. Also, one professional dancer joined the collective at that time. Then dance and stage movement became the group’s main tool.
Working at ZAMEK Culture Centre, Theatre Klucz staged six performances, presented at ZAMEK and in other theaters and festivals in Poland.
Their Tranquillo won the main prize in the Independent Theatre Competition “The Best Off” 2022. Also, group of theater critics singled it out as the best dance performance in a survey of the Theatre monthly: “The Best of the 2022/2023 Season”.
Their next two performances have received many enthusiastic reviews in the media and are invited to stages and festivals all over Poland.
